Wilderness First Aid

Planning to take your scouts on a Backcountry adventure?
Do you have a leader with Wilderness First Aid Training?

 

Wilderness First Aid (WFA) is the assessment of, and treatment given to an ill or injured person in a remote environment where definitive care by a physician and/or rapid transport is an hour or more away.

Who should attend? Any unit leader whose Troop is planning a backcountry trek.

Who can attend? Scout Leaders and Youth over the age of 14.

February 20 & March 6, 2022
8am-4pm both days

Participants must attend both sessions and demonstrate skills learned to earn certification.

Camp Hinds

$125

Participants will receive certification, which is valid for 2
years, and a Wilderness First Aid handbook.

Fee does not include food. Participants will need to bring
their own lunch and snacks.
