We are pleased to announce the selection of Gary Savignano as Scout Executive of Pine Tree Council effective November 1, 2024.Gary began his Scouting career in 1990 as a District Executive at the North Bay Council in Danvers Massachusetts. He moved on to become the Asst. Scout Executive at the Monmouth Council (Morganville, NJ), Scout Executive at the Katahdin Area Council (Bangor, ME), Nashua Valley Council (Lancaster, MA), and the Western Massachusetts Council (Westfield, MA).
Gary is an Eagle Scout and Vigil Honor member of the Order of the Arrow, who enjoys cooking and traveling with his family. Born in Lewiston Maine, Gary spent his youth in the Greater Boston area. Gary is also a graduate of Hebron Academy.
Gary and Patricia have three adult children, Katelyn, Nicholas, and Tyler (Hebron ’17), all involved in Scouting attaining ranks of Ranger and Eagle Scout.
