Departure
On Friday, February 24th, the campfire and closing will start at 6:00 PM. Parents and guest will be welcome starting at 5:30 PM. All campers are dismissed after the campfire to return home on Friday night at approximately 7 PM.

Camp Fees:
The total fee for Winter Camp is $260.  Most of you have paid the $25 deposit at this time.  Please make your final payments for Winter Camp by Feb. 6th.  Mail payments to Pine Tree Council
131 Johnson Rd. Portland, ME 04102 and make reference to Winter Camp on the check!

Registration for Merit Badges:
To sign up click on the "Merit Badge Registration" link on the left.

Health Forms:
Health forms are required for all winter campers and staff!  Campers must complete a BSA Annual Health and Medical Record form, which requires a doctor’s physical within the last 12 months prior to Winter Camp.  Usually your health form from summer camp works!  Please complete and return a photocopy to PTC with your final payment.  Also bring an extra photocopy with you when you check in.

What to Bring For Merit Badges:
Bring a notebook, pen and pencils and appropriate merit badge books.   Merit badge books may be purchased for $4.50 plus tax at Pine Tree Council Scout Shop, at www.ScoutStuff.org, or at the Trading Post at Winter Camp.  For additional information for individual merit badges see the merit badge prerequisites page.  Although camp does have some skis for camper use, Scouts taking Snow Sports MB should bring their own skis and accessories.

Be Prepared:
During winter camp we will be spending time indoors and outdoors, including one evening sleeping out, so cold weather gear is very important. Please refer to the What to bring to camp list for appropriate clothing and equipment.

Please MARK all gear and equipment! We will have storage for large items when not in use.

Questions:
If you have any questions feel free to email me at dzaharis@gmail.com or call Cathy Gosselin at the council service center 797-5252 Ext 14.  We look forward to your arrival and company.
