Council Scout Shop
“Supplying all of your Scouting needs”
The Scout Shop at the Alton “Chuck” Cianchette Scout Service Center is now bigger and bet ter. The larger space has allowed the Scout Shop to carry additional items and greater inventory. The Scout Shop has everything from youth and leader handbooks to Scout scrapbooking supplies. Whether you’re a new Tiger Cub or a seasoned leader, the Pine Tree Council Scout Shop can handle your needs. The following are just a few of the product lines:
 Scout Uniforms – Uniforms for Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Venture Scouts as well as leader uniforms. Also available are hats, belts, socks, and all the insignias needed to complete a uniform.
Advancements – A full line of Cub Scout and Boy Scout awards including badges of rank, academic and sports belt loops and pins, parent pins, and merit badges. Also available are pocket certificates for recognition.
Crafts – A wide selection of ar t and craft projects and supplies. They are perfect for your Den, Pack, and Troop meetings. Complete lines of scout scrapbooking supplies are available including scrapbooks, papers, stickers, and pages.
Recognition – Everything you will need to recognize your volunteers, parents, and Scouts. For Eagle Scout presentations the Scout Shop  has invitations, napkins, centerpieces, and more to make that occasion special.
Camping Equipment – The expanded selection includes equipment for an overnight trip or a week at summer camp.
Clothing – The new line of Pine Tree Council logo clothing includes golf shirts, sweatshirts, fleece vests, fleece jackets, and more. 
Educational – Make learning fun with science kits, radio projects, or a Professor Noggin’s Card Game.
The Pi ne Tree Council Scout Shop e-mails a newsletter every month to Scouters. This newsletter includes information on new items, items that can be utilized for the monthly Cub Scout Theme, Scout Shop events and promotions. To receive this E-newsletter, contact Mike King at miking@bsamail.org.
The Scout Shop is now online! This site has items that are exclusive to the PTC Scout Shop: Pine Tree Council shoulder patches and clothing, camping equipment, books and maps, fun learning stuff, and much more. New items are being added weekly. Order on line or browse the site before shopping at the Scout Shop.
The council on line store does not have any Boy Scouts of America items. For official BSA items go to the BSA online catalog.
As always, Scout Shop and BSA items can be purchased at the Scout Shop, 131 Johnson Road, Portland; by calling 207-797-5441 or toll free 1-877-PTC-SHOP (1-877-782-7467); and by fax at 207-878-9472.
If you are not able to visit the Scout Shop to make your purchase, take advantage of our Pick & Ship program. Just contact us by phone, fax, mail, or e-mail and we'll gather your requested items and ship them to you for next day delivery (Maine only) by UPS. Payment can be by check, debit or credit card, or unit (pack, troop, or crew) account.
Return and Exchange Policy
All refunds or exchanges must take place within 30 days after a purchase. A receipt is required for all refunds or exchanges. All items returned or exchanged must be in the original packaging, with the original tags attached, and show no signs of use.
If you purchase with cash or check, a store credit will automatically be issued. You may request a check be mailed to. Please allow 30 days. If you purchased with a credit card, credit will be applied to the card.
