First year scouts will love this program that introduces some of the basics for Scouts on the path to First Class. This course provides Scouts with a basic understanding of the materials needed to know for the First Class rank, including the patrol method, cooking, hiking, camping, and knot tying skills. Situated between McCurdy and Pavillion Lodge, the Be First Class area offers a great starting program for new scouts.
