Resident Summer Camp

Pine Tree Council offers a traditional scout camp experience at Camp Hinds in Raymond, Maine.

For over seventy-five years, Camp Hinds has a history of scouting excellence with strong traditions and spirit! This camp of 280 acres on Panther Pond, which is part of the Sebago Lakes Region of Maine, brings you the best in traditional Scout Camping along with some older boy and Trail to Eagle programs that you will not want to miss!

Health Forms

A Class 1 & 2 Health Form with emergency phone numbers, parental/guardian permission to treat and a health history IS REQUIRED FOR ALL campers and staff. The health history must list a complete immunization record. This is required by the State of Maine camp policies! Adults 40 years and older must complete the Class 3 Health Form.

Merit Badges

Camp Hinds offers a wide variety of merit badges during is summer camp season. Scouts can choose from merit badges in the following areas: waterfront, craftshop, nature, computers/technology and shooting sports, among many. In addition, older scout sessions held in the afternoons may offer merit badges for the older scout that has all the traditionally offered ones! Consult the Leader's Guide or the Merit Badge offerings sheet for which badges will be offered this camp season.

Trail to Eagle

Offered at selected weeks of camp Trail to Eagle offers an intense week of camping with the focus on merit badges required for the Eagle Scout rank.
